Hardwood History
The 1985 Final Four was historic. Three teams from the same conference, the BIG EAST, all made it to college basketball's mecca. The other? Memphis State. Dana Kirk's Tigers were led by All-American Keith Lee and a host of other future NBA players.
Memphis State finished the season 31-4 and ranked 5th in the final AP Poll losing to #8 seed Villanova in the Final Four.
