It's time to add a piece of history to your closet with this Virginia Cavaliers t-shirt. University Hall or "U-Hall" opened in 1965 and served as home to UVA basketball for the next 41 years. The clam shaped roof arena held 8,500 fans and was one of the first multi-use facilities in the country hosting everything from concerts to the circus.
From 1979 to 1983 University Hall was known as "Ralph's House" as the Cavaliers racked up an impressive 50-2 home record. Besides Ralph Sampson "U-Hall" was home to other Cavalier legends like Bobby Stokes, Jeff Lamp, Bryant Stith, Dawn Staley and many more.
Set for demolition this year own a piece of Hardwood History in our retro Virginia Cavaliers tshirt!
