Joe B. Hall's 1984-1985 Kentucky Wildcats were coming off a Final Four run the previous season but the team would look totally different after losing two players, Mel Turpin and Sam Bowie, to the NBA Draft.  Luckily for Coach Hall, Kentucky did return a 6'8 All-American forward named Kenny Walker.

Walker led the Cats with 23 points per game on his way to being named the SEC Player of the Year.  Despite Walker's individual success Kentucky had a down year by their high standards, losing 12 games during the regular season and finishing 4th in the SEC.

None of that mattered when the NCAA Tournament started as the Wildcats earned a #12 seed in the West Region.  They first beat #5 Washington, 66-58 before taking down #4 UNLV, 64-61 to advance to the Sweet 16.  Kentucky's run would end there at the hands of Chris Mullin and #1 seed St. John's.

Do not get me wrong here these are beautiful shorts awesome quality they’re great!
But sizing wise it was like a small if I had it to do over I’d went with xl or 2x I went with a medium just to be real sure of fit. They size like modern sizes so if you like baggy go up a size maybe even 2. Other than that they rock

Great graphics and fit.

I purchased the 84-85 UK shorts. I had been wanting these style shorts for a long time and 19nine delivered. The cat head logo is great and the fit of the shorts is comfortable and durable. Looking forward to future UK products.

Even though I am way far away from the talent level of Kenny "Sky" Walker, these shorts make me feel like a real Wildcat on the court!
