Indiana Hoosiers 1969-1970
The 1969-1970 Indiana Hoosiers was mostly forgettable after the team went 7-17. However, bigger and better things were on the horizon for IU. Big George McGinnis (pictured here doing promo shots for the '70-71 season) came to Bloomington the following year and Bob Knight started his legendary run the year after that. But 1969-1970 provided the first look at an Indiana basketball uniform that had any kind of branding as part of the design. This pair of shorts would only be worn 1 year but paved the way for the iconic traditional IU shorts we've all come to respect and love.
