      Originally named Purdue Arena, the home of the Boilers was hailed as "the first of its kind among collegiate sports facilities."

      The first game ever played in Purdue Arena on December 2, 1967 saw the Boilermakers take on Wooden and his UCLA team in a classic contest. The Boilermakers came up just short, 73-71 in front of a standing room-only crowd of more than 14,400, in the debut of the legendary Rick Mount.

      In March of 1972, the facility was renamed in honor of Guy "Red" Mackey, who was part of the Purdue Athletics scene for 45 years, including 29 as athletics director, before passing away in 1971. On Dec. 12, 1997, the floor of Mackey Arena was named "Keady Court" in honor of legendary men's basketball coach Gene Keady.

      The Purdue Pete used on this shirt was the same one used as Mackey's half court at the beginning of Coach Keady's tenure and through much of the '80s.

Good Design, Poor Fit and Customer Service

I ordered a Large. I wear Large/Medium shirts depending on the cut. This shirt is a Schmedium. I’m 6’1” and 190 lbs, and it does not fit in the shoulders because I have shoulders.

The design is cool, but the cut of the shirt does not fit. I tried to contact the company for a return multiple times and have received no response within a week of attempts. The lack of response is more frustrating than the shirt fit.

I am stopping payment on the card, as they are not honoring their return policy and cannot be reached via multiple attempts. I will donate the shirt. I don’t know what else to do about it.

Avoid buying from this company.
