      Led by Juan Dixon, Steve Blake and Lonny Baxter, Gary Williams' squad entered the 2001-2002 season ranked #2 in the AP Poll.  The Terps delivered on that lofty ranking by going 25-3 during the regular season and 15-1 in the loaded ACC. 

      That dominant ACC run was enough to give Maryland the #1 seed in the East Region of the NCAA Tournament.  Wins over college basketball elites like Kentucky, UConn, Kansas and Indiana gave Maryland the schools first National Championship. 

      Four of Maryland's top 5 players would go on to the NBA.  But none was more important than the skinny guard from Baltimore, Juan Dixon.

      "Nobody ever did what he did at Maryland. There was no MOP of the Final Four except for Juan, there was no ACC Player of the Year very often, he was the program's all-time leading scorer, made two Final Fours, that type of thing.  When they talk about all the great players at Maryland, I think Juan has to be at the top of the list."

Awesome shorts

So great to be able to find these classic shorts from the title team with the classic Maryland Nike logo. Love the pockets. Have to make these in white!!! Would buy those for sure. Would buy a pair of black as well. Do recommend buying up a size. Went XL and they are a great fit.

Great Retro

Great retro pair by 19Nine. Maryland's uniforms were far superior when they were with Nike in the early 2000's and 19Nine absolutely nailed this pair. Amazing job (as usual) by the boys. Hope they drop this style in the black colorway next!

2002 Nostalgia

These shorts are amazing! It brings me back to when Maryland won the 2002 NCAA championship. I've been looking for a pair of these shorts for a while and glad I found them here on 19nine. I second the review before mine; would love to have these shorts available in the black color way as well!

Also wanted to mention the customer service is excellent! I was unsure of my size but customer service was really helpful. For reference, I'm 5'11, weigh about 175 lbs, have a 34 waist and the Large fits me well. Hope this helps!
